NOTICE TO OVERSEAS ABSENTEE VOTING

REGISTRANTS

 

All Filipinos in Germany who have registered between August and September 2003 as overseas absentee voters are invited to check the Certified List of Overseas Absentee Voters prepared by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to determine if their applications were approved by Comelec and if they will be allowed to vote in the 2004 Philippine National Elections.

 

The Certified List of Overseas Absentee Voters, a per country listing of overseas absentee voters whose applications to vote have been approved, is now available at the Comelec website as follows:

Overseas Absentee Voting will be held at the Philippine Embassy Bonn Extension Office from 12 March to 10 May 2004 for seafarers and from 11 April to 10 May 2004 for land based Filipino migrants.  Voting will be held everyday except on April 8 (Holy Thursday) and April 9 (Good Friday) from 9:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon. VOTING AT THE EMBASSY WILL BE CLOSED AT 9:00 IN THE MORNING ON 10 MAY 2004 (3:00 p.m. in the Philippines). SO, PLEASE COME TO THE EMBASSY AND CAST YOUR VOTE EARLY. DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE.
