Ka mag-anak Communication

To all interested

The association Ka mag-anak is intended to be an international association, meaning that we will have members worldwide. Consequently it will not be possible that we can come together for some regular meetings to exchange ideas, plan and discuss the future activities. But still communication is needed. So what is planned?

Most of the communication will be done via the possibilities offered through Internet. So we plan:

1. The Ka mag-anak web site http://www.ka-mag-anak.org/.

We have ordered already the web site name (http://www.ka-mag-anak.org/) and we are waiting now for the confirmation that we can start the site. Latest next week the site should be up and running.

In the web site of Ka mag-anak you will always find all documents important for our association available for download. These documents will be either in PDF Format (to be read by the Acrobat Reader) or as *.DOC files (To be read by Microsoft Word).

Furthermore all ongoing, planned and past activities will be documented there, with pictures and a lot of humor.

There will be a private section in that web site available as well for all information which is internal for the association and should not be made public. Here you will find the complete list of all members (hopefully all with pictures), plus reports of meetings, and discussions of sensitive issues.

1. The Ka mag-anak Forum

As part of the web site of Ka mag-anak a forum will be made available where all members (and non-members) can exchange their ideas and opinions. Here you can permanently read all exchange of opinions even month later.

We will organize probably in Yahoo via MSN, where people can meet online and discuss

We will use a public tool (either Yahoo or MSN Netmeeting) to be able via web cams to communicate directly with all members. Such meetings will be announced in time and all can participate and exchange their ideas online.

Ideas and discussions, which should not be public, will be done via the Ka mag-anak email lists. There will be several lists available (for download as well):

Of course there still will be local meetings being held in areas where several members are living close by. The protocols of such meetings will be published in the Ka mag-anak web site as well. And of course we encourage such groups to plan and start their own events, with the logistic and functional support of all members worldwide. This could mean that we provide the artists for the event, material (like the Philippine Flag,) and/or help in the setup of the venue.
